|Mattress Material||Memory foam and latex sleep "IN" the mattress|
|Zones of Firmness||1|
How can anyone not applaud Casper’s amazing marketing effort and their disruption of the conventional mattress industry. BRAVO! They have proven that you can sell just one mattress and satisfy the vast majority of sleepers.
The combination of 'open-cell latex' on top of a layer of 'high density memory foam' on top of 2 layers of 'durable support foam' is hardly innovative or different from what is currently available on the market today, in our opinion.
Most importantly, Casper brags about their 'pressure-relieving memory foam' when in fact they placed 6th out of the 7 mattresses tested for pressure.
Lastly, the 'mattress-in-a-box' concept was developed long before Casper began operations and a 100 Night Trial is certainly not unique to them or the mattress industry.
So you decide: innovative, me-too or simply great marketing?
